As a National Accounts Intern at United Rentals, you will be responsible for a number of projects and tasks that support the corporate department. You will gain experience in one or more key functional areas.

Additional duties include the following:

  • A variety of tasks to support department objectives

  • Assist with meeting objectives, while providing superior customer service

  • Perform Financial Analysis and prepare statistical evaluations using Excel, PowerPoint and other supporting software

  • Participate on various projects related to the business which may cover multiple categories (i.e. Pricing analysis, financial modeling, supply chain growth and development through enhanced activities)

  • Participate in departmental and cross-functional work sessions, conference calls and WebEx meetings

  • Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Must be currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in sales, business management, marketing, advertising or related program required

  • 1 year customer service or sales experience required

  • Ability to manage multi priorities and meet deadlines

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel

  • Confidence to deal with employees at all levels of the organization

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a keen attention to detail
