The Sr Admin, IT Security, identifies business and cyber security risks within all existing IT systems within the organization. Manage risk mitigation. Monitor and manage security tools. Educate user on sound security practices.
Defend information asset against unauthorized access, modification or destruction
Manage the responsible security solutions (e.g. Antivirus software, Encryption, Firewall, SIEM...).
Demonstrate expert knowledge in security solutions and serve as the key resource providing technical advices on security solutions.
Automate manual processes via scripting.
Undertake investigations and address cyber risks and security events timely.
Identify and address excessive risk exposures.
Experience in computer intrusion and log analysis and incident response.
Develop and maintain the accuracy of documentation on security tools and solutions.
Cross train other team member(s) as backup(s)
Establish, implement and refine practices for system and user behavior monitoring to minimize cyber risks.
Train employees in security awareness and practices
Bachelor's degree in related field required. Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business or equivalent experience preferred. .
Certification as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacking), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), other security, system equivalent certification preferred.
3+ year experience in security required.
Knowledge in SCCM (2012), Web filter (Websense), Firewall (Palo Alto), SIEM (Splunk), AV (Symantec), MDM (MobileIron), Data Protection/Encryption, Network Scanning/Security Assessment Tools, Cisco network, scripting or SQL preferred.
Other Skills Required: Must possess excellent problem-solving, communication, critical-thinking skills. Independence, detail-oriented, self-motivated, reliable and be responsible. Respond to emergency calls or incidents during non-business hours.
